Written on a parchment sheet sitting on Xedho’s stone hearth

Take 3 quart of a pound of finely sifted and bolted flour, 2 spoonfuls of new barme work this together with hot licorice and cover it close and let it stand and rest one hour & it will rise enough, then work it & break it well make small loaves & set into the hotte oven for the space of half an hour or less.
